Dogs were found in deplorable conditions at a home in Fayette County and appeared to have eaten dead puppies. 25-year old Mia J. Dodson is charged with seven counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty, according to a post on the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. Deputies responded after receiving a tip that a dog had climbed out a window onto the roof of the house and a witness saw several dead puppies and other dogs that were malnourished. Dodson is currently being held at the Southern Reginal Jail on a $10,000 surety/cash bond.
