The West Virginia National Guard will assist Kanawha County with flood relief as communities in the eastern part of the county struggle to recover. More than one-hundred homes, along with bridges, roads and other infrastructure were damaged. More than fifty families in the community of Happy Town at Hughes Creek are cut off after a bridge was washed out.
