A report from QuoteWizard by Lending Tree shows West Virginia ranks number one for the most expensive health insurance costs, but at the same time, the Mountain State is the cheapest for labor and delivery. Criteria included health insurance, labor and delivery, and child care costs. In West Virginia it costs around $25,000 for the first year of a child’s life, and that’s in the middle of the list ranking states, where costs can top out at $37,000 for the first year.
