Many Christmas Parades Will be Held This Week

Several Christmas parades will be happening this week around West Virginia. In Boone County the Whitesville Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Christmas Parade will happen on Saturday, Dec. 3 near Walgreens and end at Coal River Heritage Park. The Huntington Christmas Parade of Lights will start on 4th Avenue and 13th Street and end at the DoubleTree Hotel on Friday, Dec. 2. The Montgomery Christmas Parade will also be on Friday, Dec. 2 and it will start at the Montgomery Fire Department. The Charleston Christmas Parade will happen Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 pm at Kanawha Boulevard and Capitol Street, then will go to Washington Street, then to Summers Street, and finally back to the Boulevard. South Charleston. Sissonville, and St. Albans will have their parades on Saturday, Dec. 3 and Dunbar will have theirs on Dec. 2.
