New travel plazas coming to the WV Turnpike

The Beckley and Bluestone travel plazas will close in early February as construction begins on a nearly two-year project that will expand the plazas on the West Virginia Turnpike. The over 150-million-dollar investment will also include a rebuild of the Morton Travel Plaza in Kanawha County beginning in 2025. More than three-million motorists use the travel plazas annually, and Governor Justice says they deserve a nicer place to stop.
