Court records said State Police were able to find a woman who was pulled from a car and kidnapped at a busy intersection in Cabell County after witnesses reported seeing the woman screaming and fighting and being shoved into a pickup truck.
Danny Joe White Jr. was charged with kidnapping, domestic battery and domestic assault following an incident Monday near the Merritt Creek Farm shopping center in Barboursville, according to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court. During the investigation the father reported that White was his daughter’s boyfriend, and he forced his daughter out of the vehicle. The woman was found unharmed in the suspect’s vehicle in his driveway in Mason County. White is currently being held at the Western Regional Jail.
