A woman faces charges after grabbing a weapon during an argument with her husband

A Kanawha County woman is accused of throwing a knife and pointing a gun at her husband during an argument. Elizabeth A. Smock of Alum Creek is charged with felony wanton endangerment and domestic battery with a weapon, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. The victim told deputies Smock returned home intoxicated Sunday night and began arguing with him and then the altercation turned physical. Smock is currently being held on a $1,000 cash bond.
