A man was charged after deputies said he left seven dogs on the side of the road Monday in Mingo County. Sam Moseley is charged with seven counts of cruelty to animals, according to a criminal complaint filed in Mingo County Magistrate Court.
Deputies said Moseley left six puppies and one adult dog on the side of the road along Laurel Creek and drove away. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he was taken into custody Tuesday, according to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office.
