Some neighbors tried to save a man from a house fire in Huntington, but the man couldn’t be rescued. Neighbors tried to save the man by pulling him out of the home on Siders Avenue and start CPR, but 59-James Craig died at the scene. Rescue efforts by the neighbors started after one minute. Craig’s body was taken to the medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death. One of the neighbors was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Investigators believe the fire started near the back of the home, and they’re working to determine the exact cause.
