A Tennessee man is arrested after a high speed chase

A man was taken into custody after a pursuit on Interstate 64 and Route 60 that reached speeds of more than 100 mph. Court records in St. Albans said the pursuit ended following a chase through neighborhood streets. 25-year old Joshua M. Johnson of Madison, Tennessee is charged with fleeing with reckless indifference. A South Charleston police officer was conducting a patrol on the interstate when he saw a vehicle with defective lights. The officer got behind the vehicle to make a traffic stop, and the vehicle took off at more than 100 mph in a posted 60 mph speed zone.
