Investigators said a body found in Mason County in February was that of a woman reported missing in the New River Gorge area. The body of Agnieszka K. Drelich-Smith, of Beverly Hills, Calif., was found at a Leon boat landing on Feb. 22, according to an update from the Mason County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said Drelich-Smith was reported missing Dec. 12 in the New River Gorge Bridge area after visiting family in Fayette County. The National Park Service had been searching the area for the woman since her disappearance. No information was available on how the woman ended up in the Mason County area.
