The Boone County Commission voted unanimously this week to remove Boone County Prosecutor Donna E. Taylor, who faces disciplinary charges after court documents said she hired her boyfriend as an assistant prosecutor. The charges of misconduct are being investigated by a state board, and also include the failure to prepare orders for abuse and neglect cases and failing to file releases of judgment after payments were made. A resolution will remove Taylor at the next commission meeting. Taylor has until April 8 to submit a written response.
