An argument over a steering wheel cover led to a crash that injured a child in Boone County. Steven Bias of Danville is charged in connection with a two-vehicle crash in August 2022 in the Peytona area. Deputies said Bias was a passenger in the vehicle and was arguing with his girlfriend about a steering wheel cover while she was driving, and when he pulled it off it caused her to crash into another vehicle. One of the two children in the backseat was taken to a local hospital following the crash. More court dates for Bias are pending.
