Boone County traffic stop leads to a drug arrest

A traffic stop in Boone County led troopers to an arrest and the seizure of more than 100 grams of methamphetamine on Sunday. 35-year old Heather Messer of Foster has been charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police. A trooper conducted a traffic stop along Route 119 in the Danville area and found about 128 grams of methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Messer is being held at Southwestern Regional Jail on a $60,100 surety/cash bail.
