Court records said a woman faces several charges in Boone County after she was accused of reporting a false emergency and threatening officers. Cynthia Price is accused of telling a deputy she “put six police officers in the hospital in North Carolina.” Price was arrested Tuesday after deputies responded to a home on Boggs Drive in Robinson. The complaint filed in Boone County Magistrate Court said a deputy previously warned the suspect about making false reports to 911 after she called in about seven false emergency incidents in 24 hours. The complaint said the woman appeared to be intoxicated and was hallucinating on controlled substances. Price is currently being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail.
