A full schedule of events for this year’s Charleston Sternwheel Regatta is expected to be released in the coming months, but headliners were announced this week. The entertainment will include rapper Flo Rida and country singer Jo Dee Messina.
Rock band Better Than Ezra will kick the music off Friday night June 30, followed by Flo Rida on Saturday, July 1, according to a news release from the city. Kool & The Gang will perform Sunday, July 2, and Jo Dee Messina will close the Regatta on Monday, July 3. The regatta’s successful return in 2022 followed a 12-year absence. The 2022 festival drew an estimated 210,000 people and provided an estimated $31 million economic boost, according to city officials.
