Governor Justice signed multiple bills into law, including the state’s budget bill. The nearly four-point-nine-billion-dollar budget was signed into law, as well as an increase in salary for state employees. The pay raise applies to all state employees, teachers, service personnel, and the West Virginia State Police. The bill, Senate Bill 423, passed unanimously in both chambers.
