Chick-fil-A has announced the opening date for its new restaurant in the South Charleston area. Owner Tom Minturn said the new Chick-fil-A on MacCorkle Avenue will be opening on March 23. A groundbreaking was held Aug. 29, 2022, for the new restaurant which was the first tenant of the sprawling Park Place development. Menard’s has since been announced as a future tenant on the property. Chick-fil-A is still hiring.
