Longtime business leader and current head of Nike John Donahoe will be the featured speaker at Marshall University’s 2023 Commencement. Donahoe has served as president and chief executive officer of Nike since January 2020, and will be the keynote speaker at the ceremonies on Saturday, April 29. Donahoe is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He started his career at Bain & Company before becoming the firm’s president and CEO in 1999. Later, Donahoe led ServiceNow and eBay before being chosen to lead Nike 2020. Marshall will hold two spring graduations at the Mountain Health Arena – one at 9 a.m. and one at 2 p.m. Donahoe will speak at both ceremonies.
