Man pleads guilty to meth distribution

Law enforcement officials conducted “Operation Smoke and Mirrors” last week. It’s the largest methamphetamine bust in the state, resulting in the seizure of over two-hundred pounds of methamphetamine, nearly thirty-pounds of cocaine, twenty-pounds of fentanyl, eighteen firearms, and almost 750-thousand-dollars in cash. A Charleston man is pleading guilty to distributing fifty-grams or more of meth. Thirty-eight-year-old Jasper Wemh, admits to having a role in a drug trafficking group operating in the Charleston area. He is one of thirty people being indicted in the operation.
