Deputies said a second person has been charged after a man was accused of driving under the influence with an unsecured child. Jozelyn Pauley of Alum Creek is charged with child neglect creating substantial risk of injury, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office. Pauley was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Brian Oglesbee, and is accused of allowing her 5-month-old daughter to ride in the vehicle while Oglesbee was allegedly under the influence. The vehicle, which was reported stolen, was stopped about 2:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Albans after deputies said Oglesbee, was driving with no headlights on. The pair admitted to deputies that they’d smoked marijuana prior to getting into the vehicle, and deputies said Oglesbee also admitted to smoking methamphetamine.
