A man from Ohio faces up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine after police said they found four pounds of meth inside of his vehicle in Jackson County. Brandon Gates of Akron, pleaded guilty this week to possession with intent to distribute a mixture containing methamphetamine. Court documents show police found the drugs in Gates’ vehicle during a traffic stop on I-77 on July 12, 2022. Gates is scheduled to be sentenced on August 24th.
