WV American Water plans dozens of upgrades

More than 40 infrastructure projects totaling about $15 million are in the works for West Virginia American Water’s central operating area. The company said the replacement of more than 60,000 feet of water mains in the Kanawha Valley aim to improve service and water quality, and 45 projects are planned. The work will include upgrades to pipes along West Reynolds Avenue in Belle, Fayette Pike in Montgomery and Hopkins Avenue in Danville. The company’s webpage has a detailed infrastructure map.
