Body found is identified as missing Ohio teen

A body found in the Ohio River near Kenova was identified as that of a missing teenager from Lawrence County. Deputies said the body of 15-year old Darrien Otta, who was reported missing on April 18, was identified Wednesday by forensics officials. Otta’s body was found in the Ohio River near Twelvepole Creek on April 27 and was identified through DNA and dental records with cooperation from the teenager’s family, according to the sheriff’s office. The West Virginia Medical Examiner’s Office said Otta’s body did not show any signs of foul play.
