One of Huntington’s longest-running restaurants has closed. The owner of GD Ritzy’s on Hal Greer Blvd. announced in a Facebook post this week that the restaurant was permanently closing. The restaurant was a throwback to the 1940s and 50s with a diner-like setting and food options. The owner told Eyewitness News earlier this month that the restaurant was struggling to cope with staffing and ongoing construction along Hal Greer that limited access to GD Ritzy’s.
