A new report published by Mental Health America ranks Kentucky #1 in the U.S. when it comes to certain aspects of mental health. Kentucky has a lower prevalence of mental illness and higher rates of access to care for adults.Kentucky was 13th in 2022. West Virgina ranked #20 in 2023, higher than states including California, Florida, Texas and Georgia.
