No criminal charges will be filed in a case involving a man who died while in Ashland police custody. He ran from officer and got tangled in a fence. He was arrested without incident, but then complained of medical issues. He was taken to the hospital, where he died. The man’s death was ruled accidental from acute methamphetamine intoxication.
