Officer-involved shooting came after threats were made, according to Huntington Police

Huntington police officers released more information about a man who was shot and killed by a police officer Monday afternoon. The shooting happened on 14th Street, about two blocks from the campus of Marshall University. Huntington Police Chief Phil Watkins said a man threatened to shoot people and blow up a house in the area. He said the suspect was uncooperative and charged an officer, and the officer fired. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
