Kanawha County Commissioners discussed security deficiencies at the Kanawha County Judicial Annex at their meeting last week. Security with parking and entrance into the building are top priorities and the county is working with an architect to come up with the best plan. An eighth circuit court judge will soon be added along with three more magistrate judges, and they’d like to have the security upgrades in place by the time that happens in 2025.
