Crews are still cleaning up from an apartment building fire in Chapmanville that left 88 families without a home. Eyewitness News said fans are on all 8 floors of Chapmanville Towers. A fire in one unit on the 8th floor triggered the sprinkler system in the building with water seeping through the entire building, and all units suffering water damage. The Red Cross and community volunteers are making sure those evacuated from the building are as comfortable as possible, while crews work to get them home safely as soon as possible. A spokesperson for the apartment management company says they are working with investigators to determine the cause of the fire.
