The environmental group “Save Coonskin Park” has gathered five-thousand signatures on its petition against West Virginia International Yeager Airport’s proposal to extend a runway into the park. The group says the project will damage over one-thousand-acres of green space in the park. The next step is to send a letter to the Federal Aviation Administration.
