Charleston Mayor Amy Shuler Goodwin announced the City of Charleston will host five Here to Serve community meetings to provide citizens an opportunity to meet members of the City Team – including representatives from City Departments and City Council Members, ask questions, share ideas, and troubleshoot challenges. The first of those meetings is tuesday night, at Kanawha City Community Cneter at 3511 Venable avenue in Charleston, at 6pm. The next is Thursday, September 28th, at 6pm at the Mary C Snow Elementary School Cafeteria at 100 Florida street in Charleston. Other meetings are coming up October 11th and 24th, and November first. The mayor said These meetings provide an opportunity for folks to connect one-on-one with our City Team in their communities – allowing us to better understand the challenges folks may be experiencing, hear ideas firsthand, and talk through proactive solutions.”
