West Virginia State Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of a Charleston man three years after he went missing in Mingo County. Troopers and the man’s family believe he was murdered, but the inability to locate his body has delayed an arrest and the family’s desire for closure. Charles “Chuck” Taylor was 39 when he disappeared on Sept. 18, 2020. His family believes he was murdered in a house on Vinson Street in Williamson, dismembered, and then hidden.
