Rescued dogs are headed to Michigan to be adopted

Seventeen dogs from the Kanawha Charleston Humane Association flew to Michigan, all expenses paid to a new shelter looking for their forever homes. One puppy was rescued from the top of his doghouse during the floods in August. He was chosen to get a new home in Michign. Pilots to the Rescue from New York, volunteered to pick up and fly the dogs to Jackson, Michigan. The idea was paid for by Swilled Dog, a West Virginia distillery by giving back to animal rescues. This mission helps clear extra room for more strays in Kanawha County.
