A teenager at Sissonville High School was taken into custody during a lockdown of campus on Wednesday. A letter went out from principal Doctor Gene Smith, saying a former student had gained unauthorized access to the building, and deputies were on the scene within a matter of minutes to search for the trespasser. Deputies were joined by multiple agencies. Smith said the 15 year old intruder was found in a classroom, and was caught by law enforcement. Investigators said the teen had gained access to the classroom by telling a newly-assigned teacher he had recently transferred to Sissonville. The youth was not in possession of any weapons. Deputies said it’s likely the teen will be criminally charged in connection to the incident.
