Now, flood debris collection will continue through Friday, Sept. 15, to help those affected by the Aug. 28 flooding in eastern parts of the county. Flood debris must be placed roadside off private property for pick up. Dump trucks will pick up the debris from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, Sept. 15. Kanawha County Emergency Management and Planning crews will also continue to go to affected areas to help conduct damage surveys.
