A Mixbook report has arranged the top 150 hidden gems to observe fall foliage, as voted by nature enthusiasts. Ohio’s Hocking Hills State Park cracked the top ten while West Virginia claimed five spots on the list and Kentucky appeared three times. West Virginia’s top pick was Audra State Park at No. 33. The heavily-wooded tract straddles the Middle Fork River in portions of Barbour and Upshur Counties. Other Mountain State destinations for fall foliage include the Greenbrier River Trail (No. 75), Seneca State Forest (No. 82), Cranberry Glades (No. 86) and Kumbrabow State Forest (No. 106).
