New Marshall University program helps prepare students for jobs in manufacturing

A partnership between the Marshall Advanced Manufacturing Center and Mountwest Community and Technical College is helping to prepare students with new manufacturing skills. Funds come from the Appalachian Regional Commission and from other groups, and the students learn about advancements robotics, maintenance, and automation. Many of the students may find jobs eventually at the new NUCOR plant, which broke ground in Mason County this fall and will be looking for skilled workers.
