A South Charleston bookstore that opened earlier this year has earned an award. Plot Twist Books was named Best Independent Bookstore in WV Living Magazine’s annual Best of West Virginia Awards. The bookstore opened in March and carries new and used books and book-related gifts. In September, the store added a Bookstore Bungalow Airbnb that allows guests to explore the bookshop all night long. Plot Twist Books will celebrate this recognition with a special customer appreciation event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
