Berkshire Hathaway Energy has broken ground on expansive operations in Jackson County, while Putnam County will have newly expanded operations from Toyota. And, Marshall University is building a large cyber security lab in Cabell County. The four counties have have created REACT, which stands for “Regional Economic Alliance of Counties Together.” They’ll communicate about roads, water, sewer, housing, and more.
