Inmate dies at a federal prison in West Virginia

An inmate at a federal prison in West Virginia died Sunday after he was found unresponsive. 68-year old Kenneth Harrington was found unresponsive at FCI Hazelton in Bruceton Mills Sunday afternoon. A news release from the US Dept. of Justice said employees attempted life-saving measures and EMS was requested, but Harrington was eventually pronounced dead. Harrington had been in custody at Hazelton since June 2023 and was serving a 235-month sentence for armed bank robbery in Texas. The Federal Bureau of Investigation was notified of Harrington’s death.
