Police are searching for a person of interest in a homicide investigation after a woman was killed in a Charleston home last week. Investigators said they are looking for 21-year-old Izak Surface, of Charleston, in connection to the death of 36-year-old Lora Farley. Detectives said Farley’s body was found Thursday evening in the 1600 block of Chandler Drive and taken to the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office. An autopsy revealed the woman died of blunt force trauma to the head, changing the death investigation to a homicide. Investigators said Surface was in a relationship with the victim and has been known to frequent Chandler Drive and North Charleston. Anyone with information on Surface’s location may reach police at 304-348-6480 or call emergency dispatchers at 304-348-8111.
