Remains found in a burned out vehicle in November have been identified

Investigators identified the remains found in a burned out vehicle in Wayne County in November. The remains were identified as 44-year old Douglas Isaiah Conn of Ceredo, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police. Conn’s remains were found in a burned out minivan on Nov. 29 near Lavalette. Investigators said at the time the cause of the fire was undetermined due to the extent of damage.
