Road rage incident leads to charges for a motorcycle driver

A man is accused of firing shots at another vehicle during a road rage incident in Kanawha County on Saturday. Michael Hassie of Cabell County is charged with two counts of wanton endangerment, accused of firing shots at another vehicle on MacCorkle Avenue in Jefferson during a road rage confrontation. Deputies said evidence showed two of four shots struck the vehicle, but no one inside was injured. Hassie is accused of dropping the handgun in the roadway before driving off on his motorcycle. Hassie is currently being held on a $1,000 bond.
