T-Mobile has made major enhancements to its network since 2021

State leaders announced the results of a $200 million investment in mobile and broadband infrastructure in West Virginia. T-Mobile has added 377 new towers and upgraded 121 existing ones since 2021 to increase coverage in the Mountain State and all of the federal highways in West Virginia are now serviced with the company’s 5G technology. Also, 90% of West Virginians now have T-Mobile 5G access – up 30%. The company’s expansion comes after its 2020 merger with Sprint.
