A man is arrested after a pursuit that spanned two counties

A man has been charged in a pursuit that started in Cabell County and ended in Kanawha County early Tuesday. Dakota Neff is charged with felony fleeing with reckless indifference, obstruction, possession of a stolen vehicle and fleeing on foot in Kanawha County, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Neff was also wanted on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants in Cabell County and Ohio.Police attempted to stop Neff’s vehicle, which was later found to be stolen, in Huntington, leading to a nearly hourlong pursuit where Neff is accused of reaching speeds near 100 mph as the chase spanned Cabell and Putnam counties.
