A Kanawha County man is facing prison time after admitting to downloading dozens of child pornography videos. Jerry Carroll of Crown Hill pleaded guilty to possession of prepubescent child pornography, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia. Carroll was found to be in possession of at least 82 videos depicting minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Sentencing in the case is scheduled for June 18 where Carroll faces up to 20 years in prison, at least five years of supervised release time and a fine of $250,000, according to prosecutors.
