Target is one of the national partners of Feeding America, and the retailer has donated perishables from the Barboursville store to the program. The Facing Hunger Food Bank in Huntington receives food regularly from the Target at the Merritts Creek Shopping Center, and more since the store closed due to a hill slip that caused the back of the store to crumble. Demolition on the back portion of the store started this week.
