Buffalo cheerleaders head to national competition

Buffalo High School cheerleaders are at the National Game Day competition in Florida this weekend to compete against 44 teams. Eyewitness News said this is the first time in the state’s history a Class A team has gone to this national competition. For the team to make the trip they had to raise thousands of dollars. They set a goal of $40,000 but over the course of a few months, and after many fundraisers they were able to raise about $55,000. The team is expected to compete Saturday morning about 9 a.m. in Florida.
