The Charleston City Council voted against untabling a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas. The vote was overwhelmingly no, sparking shouts from members of the public. This ultimately caused Charleston Mayor Amy Goodwin to clear the chambers. This resolution was previously tabled on Jan. 3.
